Dr. Jenkins is a native Floridian who is home now following years of training at some of the best veterinary hospitals in the country. Her training started at the acclaimed University of Florida School of Veterinary Medicine (Go Gators!), followed by a highly-competitive internship in small animal medicine at the University of Tennessee, a prestigious specialty hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, and a specialty and emergency hospital here in North Carolina.
Dr. Jenkins came to Carolina Pets to practice exceptional care in our AAHA certified hospital. Her calm expertise and cool-under-pressure skill are something to behold! Dr. Jenkins is also married to a veterinarian, has two two human babies and three fur babies (Leila, Olive, and Hitch). Dr. Jenkins enjoys trying new foods, hiking, and traveling.
